I bought this for my dad for his birthday as we recently visited this lighthouse- West Quoddy Lighthouse station in Lubec, MAINE on Father’s Day. A trip we planned for 10 years. It was an amazing time together at the lighthouse. The nightlight is gorgeous. His old millionaire extremely frugal spouse is so cheap she thought that it would drive up the electric bill so pulled it out of the wall and gave it back to me. Said worst gift ever for your father. Sadly, Because she carrys my dads nads in her pocketbook, and he is afraid of her, he apologized to me and said I would have to take my gift to him back. Lol! So i have it plugged into my bathroom and enjoy the gorgeous lighthouse nightlight each time I visit the washroom with the sad memory of my dad not getting any joy in life because he married a wretch of a person. I still love this nightlight and the lighthouse memories I had in Lubec, MAINE. Folks say there is always something haunting about a lighthouse, I guess in this case it would be the ghost of a wicked stepmother who resembles a one eyed rumple feathered seagull waiting to peck someone’s eyes out over a 1/2 cent hike in the electric bill. ?✨
